Shift
- 10 hours/week. Monday-Friday. 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. School-year only.
General Responsibilities
- Enhance the overall experience of students, staff, parents, and visitors in our district buildings
- Support of day-to-day activities, staff, events, and general maintenance within assigned building(s)
- Complete daily cleaning and support tasks as assigned by the Building Lead and Night Head Caretakers
- Event support and set-up/tear-down
- Ability to build strong working relationships with co-workers and staff
- Respond in a courteous and helpful manner to all members of the community, treating them as our customers
- Problem solving through the day to best support school activities.
- Support the overall goals of the district, Facility Services Team, and Operations Department
- Additional duties as directed by the Building Lead or Night Head Caretakers

- This position requires the operation of basic cleaning equipment including backpack vacuums

- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, physically complete all tasks assigned, and move around the building throughout the assigned shift.

Cedar Springs Public Schools is a Preschool through 12th-grade public school consisting of over 3,500 students and nearly 400 employees. We are located within the city limits of Cedar Springs, Michigan in Kent County. Cedar Springs Public Schools is one of 20 member public school districts within the Kent Intermediate School District (KISD). We are unique in that our schools are all located within a single campus setting with the exception of the Middle School which is located 1 mile south of the main campus.
